I love living in New England. As a New Englander, I get to enjoy the best of all of the seasons: the Summer, with it’s lengthy days, gives us enough sun and heat to make beach trips practically mandatory on certain days, and on other days enough temper and breeze to make an al fresco glass of wine the perfect treat. The Fall brings sweater weather and the most beautifully vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows that perfectly compliment a trip to the apple orchard and some cider doughnuts. And Winter, though cold, always generously dumps a foot or two of snow a few times per year so I can strap on my skis and enjoy amazing weekends bombing down the mountain with my friends by my side before saddling up for some apres ski fun. What’s left in this little list? Spring. It’s an amazing time of year when our winter efforts- salting, scraping, sniffling, bundling and, of course, so much shoveling– are rewarded with days that get increasingly longer, and signs of life that begin to pop up everywhere. It’s the first sign that hibernation season is over and summer is right around the corner. It’s truly a beautiful time!
To celebrate the change of seasons, I collaborated with some other wonderful vendors to create a Spring-inspired Bridal Shower shoot. With Wedding Season (yes, I capitalized that) right around the corner, Spring is always full of showers, parties, and reasons to celebrate. This shoot will be published in early April (!), so for now, I’m sharing just a sneak peek.
I hope you enjoy these images, captured by Caroline Talbot Photography, which feature a pastel palette and lush florals by The Little Flower Cottage, rentals from New England Country Rentals, and stationery by Mia Maria Design.
Lastly, my final thought on Spring: where is it!?

Thanks so much, Sara- we had a blast putting it together!
[…] shared a preview of this shoot earlier, but had to keep most of the images under wraps so Wedding Chicks could share them first. […]
