Hello, September.

Our mood board for this month has all the desert oasis vibes! Southwestern desert-chic isn’t something our couples are usually daring enough to go for, but that’s part of the fun we get to have with our monthly mood boards — they give us the freedom to dance outside of our “usual” styles and experiment with colors, shapes, patterns, textures, and moods we rarely get to explore.

Our first September wedding of this year contained several terracotta elements – we first introduced the idea in the couple’s color story, and as we were bringing their design plan to life, we designed their signage and table numbers to be made out of pieces of terracotta pots, and their flowers were composed in terracotta vessels as well – and it was one of our favorite design elements we’ve used in a wedding to date. I think it’s safe to say we weren’t ready to let go of the terracotta vibes, since they resurfaced again as one of the central elements in this month’s mood board.
