Oh, hey there, MARCH. Are you as shocked as we are? How is it already March? Did February even happen? Are we time traveling? It’s like we celebrated the new year, blinked, and now it’s March 1st. It’s fine. Everything’s fine.

It really is fine, though, because it means we’re creeping closer to warm weather. (If it is the case that we blinked our way to March, what’s a girl gotta do to blink herself to Florida? Thanks.)

This month’s mood board feels cool, and fresh, and clean. Crisp. Light. Sharp, but soft. Contemporary, but natural. It teases us with ideas of spring: short sleeve days, annual spring cleaning (that you secretly love), and warm sun on our faces. But, as New Englanders know all too well, the tease of warmer March days are almost always just that — a tease. Mother Nature dangles spring in front of our faces, and then hits us with a snowstorm to keep us grounded in reality.

This mood board plays with the idea of delicate balance and the transitional nature of life. March is a month to enjoy our springtime optimism, but reminds us that the winter slumber is not over completely. Trade-your-Bean-boots-in-for-sneakers Saturdays, but curl-up-in-bed-with-coffee Sundays.

Rarely does anything get from A to B without a transitional element in between. (Keep that in mind, fellow New Englanders, when our next snow hits.) We hope March serves as a positive month of transitioning for you! xo
