It can often (err, usually) be hard to recognize success when we’re bogged down in the day-to-day. It can feel like nobody sees the hard work and the late nights and the early mornings and the straight up grind that goes down behind the scenes around here. And that’s OK. Because the only people we need to recognize our hard work are the people we’re working so hard for. Our couples, our vendor teammates, and – most importantly – ourselves. It’s not about the fanfare over here. We’re flattered when our work shows up in publications, and tickled when we get a little love by big accounts on Instagram. But that’s not what it’s about for us.
It’s the exhales of relief and the “I don’t know how we’d do this without you”s. It’s the big, wide-mouthed grins our couples wear on their wedding day. It’s the feeling of extreme pride and fulfillment closing out another marathon wedding weekend, having helped our couples and their families make some of the most meaningful memories of their lives.
This is what it’s all about for us. These are our markers of success. Work hard in silence. Let success be your noise. Rinse and repeat.
Cheers to another successful week, loves, and another week of making your dreams happen. xo
