2014 Year in Review

Holiday

I seriously cannot believe it’s December 31 January 1 (a day late here, are you surprised? My holiday mailing hasn’t gone out yet). It feels like yesterday we launched our new website– how was that a year ago!? Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess. And we definitely had a lot of that this year!

I’ve been recalling 2014 in my head this week, and it’s not easy to narrow down all of the awesome moments into just a few highlights, but I’ll give it a shot.

First thing coming to mind, of course, is the quality of the people we’ve been lucky enough to work for and with this year. We say it all the time, but 1,000,000 times wouldn’t be enough- simply, we feel like the luckiest people in the world to get to work with the awesomest (definitely not a word, but let’s roll with it) folks day in and day out! Most importantly our clients, but also our creative partners, event partners, industry friends, and other small business owners. You keep us inspired and we’re grateful to have formed wonderful friendships and partnerships with you this year- thank you.

We also feel extremely fortunate that our work was featured both online and in print in 2014! We started the year off with a feature on Wedding Chicks and also managed to snag features on Style Me Pretty (times two), The Huffington Post, Ruffled, Classic Bride Blog, and in WellWed Magazine.

We are totally flattered and incredibly grateful to these folks for believing in our work enough to share it with their audiences!

Lastly, we are so grateful that 2014 brought a supportive community our way. Our clients, industry partners and friends, those of you we’ve met through social media, and those cheering us on from afar. Thank you for supporting The Little Things and the journey this little company is on. Every coffee date, every referral, every booking, every “like,” every piece of advice you gave us this year- we feel your support, and it is so, so meaningful. And though this company and our little community may be small, we are mighty.

Thank you for the best 2014 we could have imagined- we can not wait to see what 2015 has in store! Cheers!
