It’s extremely difficult to put into words how grateful we are that we had Alexis plan, design, and manage our Cape Cod wedding. Honestly, how do you begin to explain how thankful you are for the person who orchestrated the hands down best day of your life?
We knew when we first met with Alexis for coffee that we had to have her plan our wedding. She was outgoing and friendly, but also had a sense of calm and determination that put us at ease when we began to realize just how many moving parts there are in planning a wedding. This calming feeling was something that Alexis maintained throughout the year (+) that we spent working with her. Furthermore, she took on all of those moving parts and made our jobs easy.
Alexis has an unmatched passion for what she does. She sent us several design boards based on conversations we had and the knowledge she gained about who we are, what we like, and what we don’t like. She worked with her network to find the right vendors.
Though there were times that my wife and I felt overwhelmed by the size of the wedding, or cost, or family (let’s be honest, family drama happens to everyone when planning a wedding), Alexis was always there to help us through it. Whether it was grabbing a glass of wine with my wife, or spending hours going line by line through the budget worksheet, Alexis spared an incredible amount of time to make sure we were comfortable and all on the same page. All the while, Alexis was planning a ton of other weddings and she made us feel that ours was the only one. It’s my opinion that the number one thing you want out of a wedding planner is to feel that you are their only client, and Alexis did exactly that!
Our wedding day? Absolutely perfect. I did not have a worry in the world, and I’m a perfectionist. I had no doubt that Alexis would pull it off. The details were absolutely unbelievable. Alexis and her team worked flawlessly together to pull off an absolutely incredible event. It was EXACTLY what we wanted our wedding to be!

It was the most special day of my life, and there was zero stress or negativity which I owe all to Alexis.

Alexis planned the wedding of our dreams, before we dreamed it.
Alexis of The Little Things is the best. When my husband and I got engaged – man, we were overwhelmed. We had no idea what to do, or what we even wanted!! We just knew we wanted it to be AWESOME. Alexis literally planned the wedding of our dreams, before we dreamed it. Throughout the whole planning process Alexis was SO calm, cool, thoughtful, and always full of the best ideas. As she was putting together the final design plan, she would email us and be like, what do you think about these runners – and they were just beautiful and perfectly us. Or when I said I wanted denim napkins, she found a linen rental company who made denim napkins for us to rent for our event – and they weren’t any more expensive than regular linen rentals. And then all the details. ALL OF THE DETAILS. Things that I would never think of. I remember walking into the tent to see the tables and everything and turning to my husband-to-be and being blown away by everything. Every single thing was perfection. I don’t want to even imagine about planning our wedding without Alexis. Not only is she amazing, but she works with so many incredible vendors – who are all such wonderful, enthusiastic, and talented people Like a lot of people say about their wedding day – it went by so fast.
